Just watched the trailer and wanted to share a MMO story with you.

I’m a 38 year old Engineer, husband, PC (MMO) gamer and farther of two great daughters. I got my oldest (high school teen) into WoW over a year half ago. In WoW we both will team-up together.. quest, trade items, have fun together.
This has become a bonding point for a father and a teenage daughter. We relate real-life via WoW some times. I can recall giving her advice, with a friend problem at school, with WoW metaphors (told her to put on her “metal armor” to “resist” some issues she was having at school). Corny I know .. but it worked.
We will watch some of the player made videos, make jokes that are WoW related. Wife roles her eyes, however she is happy we can communicate .. even in this weird way.

I have been playing MMO for past 4 to 5 years.. DAOC, SWG, EQ2 (little) WoW (since launch day) .. now may move on to LotRO. Funny part is I may be board with WoW, however this connection with my daughter may make me stay.
