I personally am a gamer, not much into RPGs, but MMOs "Massively Multiplayer Online" can mean FPS games too I think. I have been playing FPS (First Person Shooter) games since around 1996, In the book the "Masters of Doom" the lives of the pioneers of some great FPS games like Doom, Quake, Return to Castle Wolfenstein to name just a few. John Carmack and ID software developed some of the the 3d game engines we now use Today in Half Life, Call of Duty and many more.
I am a TV tech and started building computers in 1996, had my first LAN party around 1998, played Unreal Tournament on 4 PCs all day. Since then I kept building and upgrading and now have about 20 PCs in my home LAN (Local Area Network.
We only Play once or twice a month due to peoples busy lives. But I can go online and play anytime. MMOs are fun, but I think its a different kind of fun playing on a LAN, like a one on one at handball. Face to face competition has a different feel to it. I enjoyed this movie and am promoting it locally here in Orlando and on my (and partners) website lansnclans.com.
You gotta have some fun in life and if you like gaming, play responsibly and have fun!
