As of this point the producers don't have a distribution method in place/picked out.

They are hoping to debut it with South By Southwest and go from there...I'm sure that we'll be kept updated with all news pertaining to the movie!

Honestly, I was a bit bummed out and a little ticked off when I realized I couldn't just buy the DVD. I mean...WTF? They're not going to reach near as many people doing this "screening" in so FEW cities. That's just silly, if you ask me.

Why not at the very LEAST add an option for us to buy it on DVD. I'd have already paid for it and been watching it by now. Not like I'm going to fly to Seattle to see it. /sigh

If you look thru the blog posts you'll see that there will be eventual DVD distribution, probably early 2009. At the moment it's not set in stone, nor has an official release date been announced, either theatrical or DVD.

Please rest assured, Second Skin will be available on DVD.

- do I have your permission to show a part of Secodn Skin in AUstin (where it has just been screened) during an academic conference on Second Life and other metaverses www.slactions.org

The audience is composed os academics who may want to use the movie in their own classes for educational purposes social analysis etc.

Can we show again only - part of the movie - in the countries where this conference takes lace simultaneously? The movie is largely unknown in europe and Brazil Countries are Brazil, Finland, Portugal, UK, Hong Kong, Israel. In the US, also at the University of Berkeley.
